FOR THE LOVE OF GORGEOUS HOMEWARES

‘‘Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.’’

Interior Design is a passion of mine and an area I have worked in from time to time. My home is an extension of my heart, a place to display the things I love and have collected on my travels across the world - I love the textures and tones and neutral colour palates found in natural fabrics, fibres and light natural woods - these stores will win your heart over too!

Homeware stores are my obsession.. heres a few of my favourites!

Bungalow Living - Berawa

A mecca for interiors - this boutique homeware store showcases a mix of Scandi Boho luxury designs and home collections that has a special place in my heart.. and also in my home! One of the first interior homeware stores I came across wandering the streets of Berawa early one morning a few years ago and I’ve made a point of stopping by on each visit to Bali since. The pretty white wooden bungalow is filled with decorative homewares, accessories, journals, hand made linen cushions and a stunning range of Kantha throws along with a spectacular art collection of tribal photography by Giovanna Photography makes this homeware store stand out from the rest!

Kim Soo Home - Seminyak

‘Stylish, decorative, spirited..’ my absolute all time favourite boutique interior home store in Bali and I’ll say it forever! I cannot leave Bali without purchasing even just a ‘little something’ from Kim Soo. I start my visit here with a coffee and slice of cake sitting outside in the black and white mosaic courtyard, watching the world go by… then something catches my eye and I can’t wait any longer… I head inside to view the latest homeware collections - a little bit boho, a little bit ethnic, classic and contemporary - woven homeware accessories, wall hangings, beaded chandeliers, textiles, cushions, throws, cutlery, artwork .. and that alluring view of the pool at the back of the store in a courtyard washed in white.. I want to move in here! If only I could… I’d not have to buy a shipping container to get my purchases all home!

Cove Island Essentials - Berawa/Canggu

Laid back luxury with that dreamy island vibe. This gorgeous little boutique store nestled in Berawa, Canggu, embodies the essence of island living - with carefully curated fashion, homewares and art; inspired by some of the world’s most alluring coastal destinations like Ibiza, Mexico and of course Bali. Handcrafted pottery, vintage treasures, limited edition artworks sit alongside unique collections by local jewellery designers. I love their Morroccan weaved rugs, exquisite fine gold jewellery pieces; handcrafted treasures in pastel hues, natural textures and organic linens - elegant and timeless.

Style and Mood - Seminyak and Berawa

I’m a cushion fiend, and I don’t mind admitting it! And this beautiful store indulges my obsessions! Blush pink, mustard, sage green, ocre, natural tones… I love them all! And then there’s their beautifully made designer bamboo furniture.. bed heads, coffee tables, chaise lounges and chairs - with window displays that catch your eye, showcasing their interior design style and individual flare. Style and Mood bring together a seamless range of homeware collections that entwine traditional Indonesian culture with a modern twist, providing a fashionable vibe that will make a statement of creative beauty in your own home too!

Kara Home Living Store - Seminyak

An absolute treasure trove of bohemian homewares! Quite possibly the largest selection of hand created and designed pieces I’ve seen in one store, in Bali.. and it’s one you must visit whilst here. You are spoilt for choice.. from textiles and rugs to weaved baskets and bags, wall hangings and tribal art to cushions and throws.. you won’t leave empty handed! There’s always room for a little villa styling to adorn your own home with keepsakes that will forever remind you of your exotic holiday in Bali. And yes.. they do organise shipping - incase your suitcase/s aren’t big enough for all your purchases!
